We have a variety of rooms to choose from based on the relaxed traditional Japanese-style room, and some also including beds.

Facilities

    Large Hall

    The vast space is one of the main characteristics of the temple, and is used for various occasions, including annual events, and as a place to eat for groups of visitors.

  • 阿字観道場

    Ajikan Dojo

    This is a dojo for practicing the esoteric meditation method “ajikan.” There are also microphones available if using the dojo as a training venue.

    This is a shared space that can be used freely. You can also read through materials on Koyasan tourism.

    Computers and printers

    There are computers and printers in the lobby that you are free to use. And There is also a coffee maker that you are free to use.

    Large bathing area

    Our baths are equipped with warm water that comes from the springs of Koyasan and is soft for the skin. Open from 3 to 12 pm and from 6 to 9 am.

    Sofas are placed throughout the facility. Please relax and enjoy the view of the garden.

Check-in
2 pm (last check-in time is 7 pm)
Dinner is served at 5:30 pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving after that time.
The ajikan meditation experience starts at 4:30 pm, so please arrive before that time if you wish to participate.

When can I start making reservations?

We start taking reservations from 9 months prior from our official website.

Can I leave my luggage with you before I check in?

We can store your luggage before and after check-in. Please feel free to let us know if you need this service.

Is there a curfew?

There is no curfew set in place. However, please note that the large bathing area is only open until 10 pm.

I’m a woman traveling by myself. Can I stay?

Yes, we also welcome women traveling alone. There are many female guests who come to stay here, as well as female staff.

We have a shojin ryori menu for lunch. Please check the “Shojin Ryori”page for more details.
Please make a reservation beforehand.
Also available for visitors who are not staying overnight.

Hair dryers are available in the large bathing area. The “Special Japanese/Western-Style Rooms” and “Deluxe Japanese-Style Rooms” also have hair dryers in the rooms.

Koyasan is a place where people of all religions and denominations can visit. We have visitors from all over the world.
